Background/Description:
Little is known of Shadow before his 15th birthday. After that, all that is known is that he moved into the court with his sister, Alyssa, raising her by himself, living as two homeless kids roaming the home of infamy. By his 17th birthday, he had already earned his piece of land and began the construction of his tiny domain.

He quickly grew an important reputation amongst many in the court, being one of the first reference you would be given if the need to disappear ever occurred. Each year he grows his knowledge of techniques for becoming the perfect chameleon, ranging from faking death to simple fake i.d. to completely steal another’s identity.

Personality:
At first glance, Shadow is a bit of a loner. He doesn’t like to get involved in stories and is rather private and prude. His distant behavior is emphasized by how snappy he can be whenever he’s slightly in a bad mood and he doesn’t open up easily to new people, though he can be a bit of a show off and likes one on one limelight.

Noticeable thing about him as well, once you start to know him, is that he is very prone to whining about little details, but hates being a martyr, so he deals with all major problems on his own. In other words, if he were dying of pain, he barely say a word when he can spend a full day complaining about a papercut. He also carries around a ticket chain with a Victorian style gold key at the end, which, if paying close attention, you can find him starring at with a hazed look in his eyes, but he refuses to talk about it.

When it comes to work, he is incredibly serious…and very silent. He also has little patience, detesting being disturbed. One who would observe him work would probably doubt his sanity, his motions being orchestrated to the last detail, the look in his eyes shining dark pleasure. His office, is his own little world no one else has access to.

Family, friends and love are sacred, being very protective of his close circle. Alyssa, his only family, is someone he often hovers over, being a little controlling and acting rather edgy when things concern her. In love, he is devoted and sees women as precious. For friends, there are few, very few, but he is attentionate and quickly builds a reputation as a good listener.

His darker side is less known, not much scene, but still legendary, rumors feeding on gossips making it grow beyond proportions, people fearing getting him angry, saying he is quick to kill and ruthless in nature. In truth, he’s not a violent or angry person, if he’s mad at someone or something, he’ll rather pout in his little corner…. The only part which may make the rumors slightly true, is that he can have quite a vengeful side of him, and when crossing that difficult to reach line, he can hate as hard as he loves.

Interests/Hobbies:
He is a shadow master and henceforth likes any kind of problem solving puzzle. He likes one on one conversation and does enjoy some ‘safe’ thrills. Surprising enough, he enjoys cooking and is pretty skilled at it. He does body building but it’s more a prevention thing than it is something he enjoys, being a little lazy and prefers to kick back with a newspaper.

He enjoys lame jokes and dry humor, sarcasm being a domain he’s comfortable in, he doesn’t get insulted easily and looking down on those who do.

On another note, bad manners, perky things and flashy people are on the top of his black list.

October Eight 1979. I am Twenty Nine.

History:
My past is an interesting one, but not one I can thoroughly share.
I can give you the basic outline, though, which I hope will suffice.
I was born in Germany and lived there until about the age of eighteen.
At that point I left home and went to Cambridge University where I studied Social Sciences.
It was worth the time.
After I left school I did a bit of wandering, traveling the world a little, but not too much.
That is until I found a place worth staying and a job I found worth keeping.
So now I remain in this occupation and am pleased with it, to be quite frank and my home is not too much to complain about. I plan on staying for as long as necessary.
Or at least until I'm killed.

Personality:
I've been told I'm too serious.
But I'm not so sure.
I just focus far too hard.
I don't have much of a sense of humor but I do hold the ability to be witty if I want to be. And I don't handle childish behavior well, or at least not in large loads.
As for my the quality of kindness?
I'd say I'm just a notch below a sweetheart.

Date of Birth

January 27th, 1993

 Shadow’s sister took on a slightly different path. As they grew up, they became friends with the neighboring merchant, Animal, man earning his name by the amount of corporal and facial hair he had. Animal was a weapon specialist and began teaching parts of the trades to both Shadow and Alyssa. She was the most interested of the two and became Animal’s apprentice.

Sadly, Animal was already old when they met, and all he managed to teach them were cruder weapons, nothing with a mechanism, such as maces, clubs, knives, even swords or metal knuckles. Guns, bombs and the likes were still out of her knowledge’s reach. But instead of trying to learn on her own, she deepened her mastery of those types of weapons and inherited Animal’s old home after he died. She is now known as one of the best merchant in the court, as well as a brilliant knife thrower, refusing to train most people seeking her knowledge.

Shadow is rather pleased with this turn of event, for a selling merchant usually never does any field work, and he prefers his sister safe and close to home, even if her attitude and skills has earned her a tough girl reputation.

The Lord is in a sense the leader of Miracle's Court. He reigns supreme in his little stone condo above everyone else, and resides fairly close to the entrance, being the sole control of who enters, and often, of who will never leave.

He is a man to fear with a death count that would scare the most skilled hitman. He is ruthless, without conscience, self absorbed and without fears. He's also a very, very skilled actor and far too charismatic a character.
